Mount Pleasant cherry blossoms in Toronto

Mount Pleasant cemetery is known for its wide variety of trees – but in late April through early May it is the cherry blossom trees north of the entrance on the east side of Yonge Street that steal the show, as they do every spring.

If you are on the TTC take the Yonge subway to Davisville Station and walk south down Yonge Street – you can see the trees from the subway – look to your right as the subway comes outside after going north from St. Clair station along the Line 1 Yonge-University line.

While you are there be sure to enjoy the rest of the cemetery grounds, maybe walk up to the Lost stations of the Toronto Beltline.
