A set of photos of the Wilket Creek Park and trail and the many bridges heading south from Edwards Gardens at Lawrence and Leslie down the City of Toronto Biking Route 43t o just north of Eglinton Ave East in Sunnybrook park.
Images and history of the stained glass windows in some of the private mausoleums of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. While the Eaton’s Crypt is the most famous, with two lions watching from the front steps, there are other mausoleums worth enjoying. While none of the glass has specific artists, I also found details on the most likely source – the McCausland’s company Canada Stained Glass Works which is still in business today.
Mount Pleasant cemetery is known for its wide variety of trees – but in late April through early May it is the cherry blossom trees north of the entrance on the east side of Yonge Street that steal the show, as they do every spring.
