Historic photos from Lytton Park in Toronto

Toronto has grown up and around Lytton Park. It was originally a 200 acre farm lot owned by the United Empire Loyalist John MacDougall, with the first house built in 1828 (located at 744 Duplex Avenue). True to its name the neighbourhood contains parks and many trees, but the horse racing track, hunt club, and mini 'castle' are sadly long gone.
